It's All About Inspiration

Several months ago, Library Board Member David Wallner had the inspiration to celebrate a special occasion by inviting his family, friends and associates to contribute to the library in honor of his birthday.

When David’s story was printed in the Summer 2009 issue of Sequels, it inspired Jean MacCubbin to make it the focus of an entire celebration for her 60th birthday (see Jean’s story on the next page).

These celebration campaigns have been so successful we want to inspire others to keep MPLF in mind for their celebratory occasions. Perhaps you are retiring, seeking a unique way to remember a special birthday or anniversary. Our new Celebration program is a sure way to share your celebration with others by supporting the Madison Public Library Foundation. The program is user friendly, allows you to choose how you would like contributions designated and it’s a fun way to give!
