Ride the East Side Earth Day Bike Ride

Ride the East Side on April 21st and 22nd in celebration of Earth Day with the Madison Public Library and the Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company.  Bike to the Pinney Branch (Sat. 9 AM – 5 PM, Sun. 1 PM – 5 PM) or the Great Dane Pub-Eastside (Sat. 11 AM – 5 PM, Sun. 10 AM – 5 PM) to receive an eco-friendly tote bag and an activity sheet with coupons to the Great Dane while supplies last.  Enter for a chance to win a kid’s bike from Pacific Cycle and other prizes in an exciting raffle.  Bike to both locations to DOUBLE your raffle odds! 

Recycle your Books

Throughout April, the Great Dane Pub-Eastside and the Pinney Branch are hosting a “recycled” book drive.  Recycle your reading materials or media at either location and receive a coupon to the Great Dane.  Donate ten gently used items to receive a $5 off when you spend $20 coupon good throughout April!  All donated material will be resold at the Friends of Pinney Branch book sale.

 

Easter Egg Hunt & Story Time



On April 7th, don’t miss Pinney Branch Children's Librarian Lesley at the community-wide Easter-egg hunt sponsored by the Great Dane Pub-Eastside.  Egg hunt begins at 10 AM at the park across from the Great Dane at 876 Juniper Drive.  Head over to the pub for post-hunt hot cocoa, treats and juice, and an Easter story session.
