Al Friedman, President and Director

 

 

Al is a long-time resident of Madison with a life-long interest in libraries. As Associate Director Emeritus of University Communications at UW-Madison, Al maintains a campus connection as president and board member of the University Club and as a board member of the Friends of UW-Madison Libraries.

Al served on international boards and commissions in higher education and was a trustee for the Madison Parks Foundation. He is very happy to be on the Madison Public Library Foundation board at this exciting time for Madison's public libraries.
